The application solution for the Liancheng Technology Smart Tunnel Monitoring System is realized through a fully digitalized and networked tunnel IoT measurement and control system. It comprises various systems such as tunnel monitoring workstations, PLCs/zone controllers/IoT measurement and control units, tunnel electromechanical systems, environmental monitoring systems, and communication networks. The tunnel monitoring workstations and servers are located in the management center of the tunnel management office. PLCs/zone controllers/IoT measurement and control units are deployed as needed in areas such as the tunnel management office, substations, box transformers, and the tunnel site, and are connected to the control room of the tunnel management office via an on-site industrial Ethernet ring network. PLCs/zone controllers/IoT measurement and control units are the core of the tunnel IoT measurement and control system. They monitor the status of tunnel electromechanical equipment such as lighting, environmental sensors (CO/VI meters, wind direction and speed meters, illuminance meters), ventilation systems, roller shutter doors, and lane indicators, collect relevant data, and intelligently/remotely/manually control the equipment of related systems after processing the collected information. This forms the foundation for realizing digital twins in the highway sector.
